Brain Tumour Treatment in China

Surgery, radiosurgery and multidisciplinary care at Beijing's leading neurosurgical centres — with a written cost estimate before you commit to anything.

Why patients travel to Beijing for brain tumour treatment

Beijing is home to one of the world's largest neurosurgical centres. Gliomas, meningiomas, pituitary tumours and brain metastases are operated on here every week by teams that do nothing else — and waiting lists are measured in days, not months.

Hospital fees are paid by you directly to the hospital. We charge a separate fee for coordinating your case, and it is confirmed in writing before you decide to travel — never a percentage of your medical bill.

What your coordination fee covers

Treatment options we coordinate

Microsurgical resection

Image-guided and awake craniotomy for tumours near speech or movement areas, with intraoperative monitoring to protect function.

Gamma Knife & radiosurgery

Non-invasive treatment for small, deep or multiple lesions such as metastases and acoustic neuroma — usually one session, with no hospital stay.

Multidisciplinary tumour board

Neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, radiotherapy and pathology review your case together and agree one plan before treatment starts.

Brain tumour treatment in China — common questions

What international patients ask before sending their scans.

How quickly can I have surgery in Beijing?
Once we receive your MRI images and pathology report, our panel gives a preliminary opinion within 24 hours. A video consultation is usually arranged within 3–5 days, and most patients travel within 2–3 weeks of first contact. Urgent cases can move faster.
Do the neurosurgeons speak English?
Many of the specialists we work with trained or practised abroad and consult in English. Where they do not, an interpreter from our team is with you at every appointment and stays through admission and treatment.
Is a biopsy report needed for a cost estimate?
Not always. If surgery has not been performed yet, send your MRI, any biopsy result and your clinical notes. Our panel will propose the most likely procedure and give you a cost range; the final figure is confirmed after an in-person assessment in Beijing.
What happens if I need follow-up after I go home?
You leave with your complete medical records and imaging in your own language. We arrange telemedicine follow-up with your surgeon and stay your point of contact for anything that comes up later.
