SinoCura (欣诺康) is an international medical referral and facilitation service based in Beijing, China, operated as a health-management consulting business. We help overseas patients access treatment at Chinese hospitals. We are not a hospital or medical institution and do not provide medical care ourselves.

2. Information We Collect

• Information you provide: name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, country, preferred language, description of your medical condition, and any documents you choose to share (e.g. medical reports, imaging).
• Communication records: messages and call records on WhatsApp, email or WeChat, so we can follow up on your enquiry.
• Technical data: pages visited, language preference, approximate region derived from your IP address, browser and device type, collected through privacy-friendly analytics (no advertising cookies).

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your enquiry and assess how we can help;
• To arrange hospital appointments, expert opinions, translation, visa invitation letters, travel and accommodation, where you engage our services;
• To maintain service records and comply with legal and tax obligations;
• To improve our website and services.

4. Legal Basis and Consent

By submitting our consultation form or contacting us, you consent to our use of your information as described in this policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us — we will stop processing unless we are legally required to keep it.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

• Hospitals and physicians: only with your explicit consent, and only the information necessary to arrange the care you request. Hospitals and physicians act as independent data controllers for the medical care they provide.
• Service providers: translators, travel and accommodation partners, bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal authorities: where required by applicable law.

We never sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

6. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Your information is processed in China. Where medical records need to be transferred across borders (for example, sharing reports with you or a physician abroad), we follow applicable Chinese laws, including the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), and obtain your consent where required.

7. Data Retention

Enquiries that do not turn into engagements are deleted within 24 months. Service records are kept for as long as needed to provide the services and to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent, by contacting us using the details below. We respond within a reasonable time and in any case within 15 working days.

9. Cookies and Analytics

We store your language preference in your browser (localStorage). We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data without the consent of a parent or guardian.

11. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive documents over open channels when possible.
